A marketing team made of agents
Everyone at mode40 needs marketing work. The people around me sell, build, and run the company, and I'm the one marketer they all ask.
I can't hire a department. So I built one out of AI agents, and I stay accountable for what it makes.
Requests from everywhere
Requests come from everywhere: a deck for a sales call, a page for an event, a post, a one-pager, a fix to the website. Too much of my day went to tracking who needed what, not making the work.
One person doing all of it by hand means something slips.
One agent per job
A small team of agents, each with one job. There's one for content, one for web, one for events, one for design, and one that keeps the data and reporting straight.
On top sits a project manager agent. It's the front door. Every request goes to it first. It works out who the work is for, writes the brief, hands pieces to the right agent, and puts everything back together for me in one package.
The agents all draw from the same source: the company's real positioning, voice, and proof. Each company's context is kept separate, so one never leaks into another.
A separate editor agent reads every piece against a quality bar and sends weak work back before I see it. The agents that write never grade themselves.
What I still do
- The ideasWhat we say, who we say it to, and why.
- The tasteI read every piece before it goes anywhere.
- The final callI approve what goes out.
How it's grown
I built a first version in about two days and have kept adding to it since. The shape hasn't changed: a front door, specialists, an editor, and one person who answers for the result.
