When my AI asks first

I let my AI do a lot. It drafts, builds pages, plans events, and sorts my work.

There's a short list of things it doesn't do on its own: send to a person, post publicly, or spend money.

The problem

An AI that can act can also act wrong. A message to a client, a post to a company page, spending money: once they're out, they're out.

A bad draft costs me a minute. A bad draft that already went out costs a lot more.

What I set up

The rule is simple: it can do anything up to the edge, and I decide whether it crosses.

  • Draft freelyWriting, designing, building, and preparing are all fine without asking.
  • My yes firstSending to a person, posting publicly, putting a page live, or spending money.
  • Asks plainlyWhen it needs me, it asks one clear question with numbered options and a suggested answer.

I'd rather answer one real question than approve a pile of things.

Approval settings

I don't rely on any tool's approval setting. The AI drafts, shows me, and waits for my yes.

The same goes for timing. Anything meant for a person is held for business hours, even if I say go.
